Bernhard Rytz: Keep up with the technology of tomorrow
SBB is working hard to keep up with the digital technology of today and tomorrow. Though the company does face many challenges, many of which slow advancement down. High costs and international competition along with local governmental regulations act as obstacles to a faster growth in the tech jungle.A digital platform for all employees exists facilitating internal communication; the SBB App is very successful among the Swiss citizens and the technology used for running the trains is ecologically friendly and safe but runs very high costs.
