At W.I.R.E., the work of philosopher and physicist Stefan Pabst centers around social and cultural transformations caused by technological progress as well as innovation management in the context of shifts in social values. He also addresses future developments in the media landscape, the digitization of the banking sector (fintech), ethical questions relating to automation and user needs in the future. He designs and leads interdisciplinary workshops for W.I.R.E., is editor of the ABSTRAKT book series and gives talks on subjects such as mobility, (social) innovation and digitization. He was previously employed as the manager of an innovation network for the HPI School of Design Thinking and worked as a freelance innovation consultant. He holds a Master’s degree in philosophy and physics from the University of Potsdam.
